Thanks for the new screensaver!!!! And also the mute option.... forgot the speakers were on and turned up a few times and freaked the dog out...

Anyone had problems with the screensaver with the sound on? On my Vista laptop, the screensaver works great without sound off, but if the sound is enabled, the screensaver cycles once and then the screen is blank, but the sound continues to loop like the screensaver is still active.

How do you get it to work in XP when I download it all I get is a notepad file (both KARR and KI3T).

The screensavers should work on all Windows versions. I've tested them on XP / Vista and 7 beta.

The classic versions can be downloaded from Fuzziedices website, please be sure to check out her site also

I will try the classic one once I get home. for the KI3T, I have Vista and it works just fine. the only thing I have noticed, After some time, the scanner and the sound dont match any more. is this normal?

Yeah it does go out of sync at times , its just because the scanner whoosh is a separate file now. I had to do it this way to get the mute functioning properly but it does go back in sync with it.

The only ones that stay saved are the K2tt and the KARR Screen Saver. Am I missing a step on the new downloads or do I have to remove the old Screensavers to install the new ones? Please let me know Weeezl when you can. Thank you.

The newer Kitt & Karrs are .scr files, all you need to do once you unzip them is right click the file and select install. Hope this helps.

Because I made these just for the PC, I would like to do a version that works on the Mac and when I do I'll be sure to post here about it.

Well, I would have re-done the classic versions of Kitt & Karr but I misplaced the files for those ones. I was working on a Kitt 2.0 which would have a working mute so a Karr version would be inevtable, when I get around to finishing it I'll update.

I can pull up the file and view it but I don't know how to get it to become the actual screen saver. I have windows vista so if anyone can help me set it up I would greatly appreciate it. It was funny, the first time I set the screen saver to go and the swish of the scanner came on, my brother jumped ten feet in the air! It was hilarious! But I know how to turn it off now so I'm good with that, I just need help getting Ki3t's scanner on. Thanks Weeezl!

Try right clicking the file and select "install" that should work.

The classic KItt & Karr are self installing exe's but due to some people that don't like installing software unless its from a trusted vendor I made the new versions .SCR only.

That didn't work at all. There was no 'install' option on there when I right clicked on it. Any more suggestions?
