Knight Rider Feature Film

For years, Knight Rider creator Glen A. Larson pursued bringing Michael Knight and KITT to the big screen. The project went through various stages of development at multiple studios, with the Weinstein Company acquiring the film rights in 2007. Several screenwriters were attached over the years, and the project was envisioned as a modern reimagining of the franchise with a bigger budget and cinematic scope. Despite significant fan interest and Larson's passionate involvement until his passing in 2014, the feature film has yet to be produced.
