I deff prefer the attack mode from the pilot. Also I miss the high pitch whine of the scanner. Wish the would incorporate both in the series. There are aspects I like from the series attack mode as well. Like the side exhaust. It would have been ok to have this new attack mode as the series progressed. Showing KI3T upgrading
I shall return and if you thought I was mean before...
i like the pilot movie better it simple not much plastic or ground effects and not that cheesy blue light crap that's on it and i keep saying the blower on top looks like crap it doesn't look like a blower you see on a race car that is in nhra drag racing her is what I'm talking about a blower just keep the attack mode simple and they should of keep the computer they had in the movie it shows the com wave better and better graphics on it
my idea

look at that blower it is awesome and normal looking not the tubes they have
They both look extremely stupid, but I think the series version is a slight improvement. I think people might be liking the pilot version better because it's all black. If the series version had a black intake and black wheels, people might prefer the series version over the pilot version.
I like the Show version because (please follow me here) if the OG KITT was the pinnacle of modern technology back in the '80s, why wouldn't the new generation be a little more tricked out?? To me, 'Knight Rider' was always about a lone hero making a difference with a sweet ass ride and the new KITT is pretty sweet!!
I like the series version but lose the neon. I don't get why they'd use ricer gear on attack Kitt and why it's blue. (as opposed to red like the scanner)
The pilot Attack KI3T seems much more Knight Rider to me. However, the blue neon on the new Attack KI3T needs to go somewhere other than where it current is... like a trashcan. Along with the cheesy KR symbol.
Ford's way of "subtle" advertisement for the Shelby Cobra King of the Road. I wouldn't really care about the neon if it was red, like on the Pursuit Mode KI2T in the Fourth(?) season.
My two cents.
Micheal: You are about as much fun as a divorce. Which isn't a bad idea! KITT: I want custody of me!

I second that. They could have done so much better, shame they didn't get a different designer...
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!
Neither. But if I HAVE to choose, I'll go with the series version, merely because it's at least a customized car. If they had bother to customize the standard version enough, then I'd probably spit on both attack modes.
The pilot looks way better with all black and sleek. The series just looks campy and like 5 "kids" where in a room brainstorming and nobody's ideas where bad . I guess the series attack mode does have the bruit force look to it and looks more versatile but it's just overbearing. Besides if he can morph into a truck why try making the car butch? Make the truck butch and keep the car clean. Either way I'm just glad it's back.

To the people who made the Knight Rider Festival possible especially Paul Casey. Thank You! See you all and more in 2012
i agree with MR2NR......the car needs to be sleek and stealthy for high speed. the blower looks like an afterthought. blowers are for drag cars that do quick acceleration, but high speed cars are all about aerodynamics. there is a difference between a nicely done tuner car and a ricer where everything looks like an afterthought. the series attack mode makes me think of super pursuit mode that came out in the 4th season of the original show and we know what happened to the show after that. its just too cheasy looking. why did they change it in the first place? (loses the continuity of the show) i hope the big wigs get wind of this and do the smart thing and change it back to the way it was in the pilot.
But as they're persisting with the series version.. Lose the neons, the fake blower, the bottom most lip of the front spoiler and those horrid wheels.. The rear wheels are especially bad, sticking out past the fender.. Oh, and lose the ability to shapeshift into other vehicles, no one buys the mustang gaining mass to become a pick-up truck..
I liked the Pilot Version better. It was sleeker and more aerodynamic. IMHO.
This stupid "Charger" like blower on top is just stupid. It's a Mustang! not Mopar! (no offense guys)
I like the "sleeper" type cars. Look like crap outside, or "no frills", but could flat kick butt when needed.
Though the double spoiler on the Pilot was a bit overkill too. But not as bad a now.

Mike: Oh, snap!
Kitt: Yes, Micheal. Snap. Petition #2507
Pilot version was better, and you know what i miss that they also scrapped with the pilot version? instead of being a transformer and moving parts around the outside of KITT had this cool NANO-feeling dissolve effect which made KITT feel like a real piece of technology, some of the transforms in the series are over the top and looks alot more CGI fake then the dissolve sort of effect did, wish they would have an episode where they upgrade KITT and give it its sleek old look back.

I think they are not claiming it gains mass but extends the mass it has to the size of the vehicle, im guessing if an awsome car like KITT was made it would be real dense anyway, prolly why everytime he has been damaged in the series is when he is transformed, or transforming.
